FRAMETEC is a light gauge and structural steel
framing component, manufacturer and distributor.
We provide pre-engineered framing packages for
both the housing and commercial building industry.
Supplying pre-packaged building systems, walls,
floors, roof trusses and pre-panelized walls.

FRAMETEC produces a building system that is environmentally and user friendly, structurally sound and straight, termite and fire resistant. Due to the stability of steel it won’t shrink, crack, warp or settle, eliminating call backs for nail pops and stress cracks caused from movement found in similar wood framed products.

With our pre-engineered system there is only 2% waste that is recycled as opposed to 20% waste with wood which is sent to our landfills. It is lighter in weight yet stronger than wood and it helps lower insurance rates.

FRAMETEC manufactures both light gauge and structural steel framing components (pre-packaged and pre-panelized walls) to the commercial and residential drywall contractor. Our positioning strategy is to compete on the basis of product acceptance and appeal to the professional drywall contractor by providing a framing system that will be easier and faster to assemble. All studs and track self aligns- everything fits without using a tape measure, it gives the drywall more stud to screw to and there is less strippage of screws on the edge of board which in turn saves you time in labor. You work hard for your money and you deserve more value for your dollar!

It’s a framing system like never before! You deserve more value for your dollar!

"We've been in the Metal Stud business for years and even with lasers, lifts and pneumatic guns, production rates are at a stand still. After years of research we've found a Framing System to decrease material waste and labor cost, while increasing production at the same time. Just line up the holes and screw, C-clamps not required. You have to see it to believe it!"

Other Advantages of Using Steel

  • Home and/or building is completely grounded in a storm.
  • Steel is engineered and manufactured, unlike wood, to provide consistent quality and a stronger frame.
  • Steel studs can be pre-cut to size, meaning less time on the job site and less waste.
  • Steel weighs about 1/3 the weight of wood studs. It is lighter to handle and the overall house/building frame weighs less. This can have a positive effect on the foundation settling common in new construction.
  • Steel is connected with screws, not nails or mortar. This means strong connections that resist high winds and earthquakes.
  • The average home built with steel uses the materials from 5-6 recycled automobiles as opposed to the traditional wood built that uses approximately 80 trees-or one acre of forest.
